White Chocolate Peppermint Shaken Espresso

Starbucks’ Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso took us all by storm in 2021. It raised the bar on an espresso drink as we knew it and we all threw away entirely too much of our disposable income because we just couldn’t resist it (myself included!). When the temperatures turned cold this fall, I decided to take matters into my own hands. My family lives about 50 minutes from the closest Starbucks so I typically only get to enjoy it on a trip.

We got an espresso machine as a wedding gift. I broke it out to try and replicate a Christmas version of this beloved drink. You just can’t keep things like this to yourself. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 shots of espresso (I recommend ordering the Thunderhead blend from Vienna Coffee Co - you won’t be disappointed!)
1 tablespoon Torani peppermint syrup
ice cubes (and a blender bottle/shaker)

3 tablespoons white chocolate mocha creamer (Starbucks brand)
3 tablespoons oat milk

Instructions:

  1. Brew 2 shots of espresso in your espresso maker. Pour over ice in your blender bottle/shaker and add 1 tablespoon (more if you want) peppermint syrup. Shake for 90 seconds until foamy.

  2. Pour espresso + peppermint mixture in to a glass.

  3. Mix creamer and oat milk into your blender and blend for at least 90 seconds until foamy. Pour (as much or as little as you desire) over your espresso mixture. Stir and enjoy!
