Bio
As an English teacher by profession who stayed home for years to raise boys, Natalia believes nothing is wasted in the economy of God. Knowing she wanted to be present with her people, but also had gifts and talents given to her by God for a purpose, she began to ask God how to use what was in her hands for His glory. So she began to write devotionals for Lifeway’s Journey Magazine several years ago as a freelance writer. God began to open doors for more freelance work. In time she began editing, writing and blogging.
Girlfriends in the Word ™ became a project God laid on her heart to assist women in doing affordable, relevant, encouraging and sustaining Bible study as a discipline in their lives. The 20 minutes a day for 20 days a month system going through specific topics geared for a women’s life has resonated with women who wanted to dive deeper than their verse a day devotional, but didn’t have an hour to commit to study each day.
She loves speaking and teaching at women’s events. Building community, both online and in-person, makes her heart soar.
